A cancelled flight. A clear next step.
Nuri finds a flight that still gets you there, shows the cost, and updates the pickup and hotel.
From the cancellation to a confirmed change
- Start with the existing booking. An exchange and a new purchase are different choices. The review says which one you’re approving.
- Compare more than the departure time. Arrival deadline, bags, and extra cost, with the options that miss soundcheck kept apart.
- Approve once. Nuri tells the driver and hotel. Approve the quote and Nuri gets the tickets reissued. The pickup and hotel each confirm separately.
Ask Nuri
“Our flight to LA was cancelled. What gets us to Harbor Hall by 19:00?”
Nuri: DL 218 at 14:00 lands at 17:05 and gets you to the venue around 18:40, about 20 minutes early (estimate). Exchanging both tickets costs $180: $130 fare difference and a $50 change fee. The airline’s free rebooking on the 15:30 lands too late for soundcheck. Want me to send the $180 change to Priya for approval?
Next time a flight is cancelled, ask Nuri.
Frequently asked questions
Can Nuri rebook a cancelled flight?
Yes. Nuri compares the options that still meet your plan, shows the full cost, and submits the change you approve or that a specific rule covers. For flights booked elsewhere, it shows whether the change goes through Nurvia or the original provider.
Does Autoflow™ rebook automatically?
Only within rules you’ve set for a plan, such as a fare limit. Anything outside those rules, like a higher fare, waits for approval. Messages to the driver or hotel can go out automatically if you’ve allowed them.
Is there a rebooking fee?
Not from Nurvia. You pay only what the airline charges, like a fare difference or change fee, and it’s shown in full before you approve.
Will I keep the same airline or fare?
Not always. Each option shows its route, cabin, baggage, and ticket conditions, and the review points out anything that differs from your original booking.
What happens to my original ticket?
It depends on the option. Exchanging your ticket and buying a new one are different actions, and the review says which one you’re approving. A refund or credit counts once the airline confirms it.
What if the airline hasn’t confirmed yet?
The task stays pending and says so. Nurvia doesn’t buy again until the earlier attempt is reconciled, so you don’t end up with two tickets.
