Data Retention and Deletion Policy
Retention periods, account disconnection, deletion requests, and backup handling.
1. Scope
This policy explains how Nurvia retains and deletes information associated with the Services. It supplements the Privacy Policy and, for organizational customers, the applicable Data Processing Agreement.
2. Retention schedule
| Information | Standard retention | Deletion or expiry | |---|---|---| | Account and workspace information | While the account or workspace remains active and the information is needed | Covered active records are removed within 30 days of a verified deletion instruction | | Saved plans, conversations, files, and…
3. Disconnecting a service
Disconnecting a connected account stops new tasks and ordinary credential use through that connection. Pending tasks are cancelled where they have not already been committed to the external service.
4. Deletion requests
You may request deletion of an account, workspace, conversation, imported source, or individual record through available product controls or privacy@nurvia.app. Requests are verified proportionately. For organization-controlled information, we follow the authorized organization’s instructions and applicable law.
5. Backups and recovery
Backup copies awaiting expiry are restricted to recovery use and are not available for ordinary account access. When a backup is restored, applicable deletion instructions are reapplied before the information is made available for normal processing.
6. Legal retention and independent recipients
We may retain limited records where required by law or necessary for a specific legal claim, security incident, or dispute. Such retention is documented, access-restricted, periodically reviewed, and ended when the justification no longer applies.
7. Further information
Detailed information about applicable service-provider retention, processing locations, and deletion procedures can be requested from privacy@nurvia.app. Contractual deletion requirements are available through the Data Processing Agreement.
